AUSTRALIAN WEEKLY MARKET REPORT
Comment
The market was generally cheaper across the board this week. The positives that can be taken from the sale, however, were the few better superfine types. They were hard to quote in such small supply, buy they remain firm and keenly sought after. The passed in rate increased to a national total of just under 20% for the week and the market rallied a little later in the sale. The Sydney market closed with little change for any good lines with good measurements and Fremantle, the last centre to close, rallied towards the end.

Forecast
National quantities will ease now, as they usually do at this time of year. Following the market performance this week, we also expect some clips not to make it to auction. Some growers will likely op to park their wool away and wait for a better market to sell into.
