Comment
South Island the only selling centre today with 11,000 bales on offer. The selection consisted of 35 percent average style fleeces 35.0 to 39.0 micron and a very limited selection of good style fleece. There was 25% of good style crossbred second shear, 35.0 to 39 micron, bulk 75/100mm and 20 percent lambs good colour, 29.0 to 31.5 micron, mainly 3 inch and 15 percent associated oddments with 5 percent miscellaneous types. China main with support from the United Kingdom, Subcontinent and Australasian carpet mills.
