Market generally firm, shears easier.

Comment

North Island only selling today with 9,525 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 20% good/average colour crossbred fleece/early shorn wool, 34.0 to 39.0 micron, 50% second shear, mostly good colour with bulk of the length +/-3″, 15% end of season combing lambs 30.0 to 31.0 micron tending average colour and 15% associated crossbred oddments.  With a stronger buyer sentiment, the market was relatively widespread with most sectors operating.

Crossbred fleece and early shorn all styles very firm.

Second Shears

All descriptions trending buyers favour.

Lambs

Good/average colour very firm.

Oddments

Clothing oddments very firm.
