Sustainability Coordinator
SCOPE
The Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the Sustainability principles and standards, as well as achieve and maintain the highest awards of SFA certification for Cashmere. The role includes the implementation of other certifications related to the management system of the local company, according to the Corporate guidelines and in co-operation with the Group Sustainability Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep constant relations with the certified cooperatives and provide training and advice according to the SFA standards and requirements;
- Manage the whole certification process and keep all related documents updated;
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure the sustainability standards are met;
- Co-operate with the local managers and supervisors in applying the procedures required by the certifications;
- Supervise the production steps from the SFA perspective and give advice to the factory workers whenever needed;
- Support the external auditors during the Certification Audits and provide constant feedback to both the local Management and the Group;
