Comment
North Island only offering 10,000 bales this week. The selection consisted of 36% crossbred lambs, 28.0 to 30.0 micron average/poor colour, 29% crossbred second shear, bulk 75mm average/poor colour, 21% crossbred ewe fleece average/poor colour 75/125mm and longer and 14% associated oddments. In a limited selection of good colour shears and fleece these were slightly neglected, with the focus on average colour showing some general gains finishing on a positive note. Good colour lambs were well supported throughout. United Kingdom and Australasian mills main with support from the Indian sub continent and China.
