COMMENT
Fleece generally unchanged to slightly dearer, skirtings 20 cents cheaper and open tops 40-50 cents cheaper.
FLEECE
The fleece market opened slightly cheaper compared to last week, and then prices crept upwards during the sale to close firm to slightly dearer. Low cvh wools and 18.5u and finer were the most affected with selected lots 10-15 cents dearer.
The passed-in rate for fleece was 10.5%, with around 100 fleece lots withdrawn prior to sale.
SKIRTINGS
Skirtings were generally 20 cents cheaper.
OPEN TOP
Open tops were generally 40-50 cents cheaper.
